The quality expectations of our customers and international industrial markets require a perfect organisation system In response, ACGB :

Certification obtained ISO 9001 dès 2001.
The increasing requirements for environmental factors, certification obtained ISO 14001 in 2003.
Expanding the activities for manufacturers seeking to strengthen quality system certification dedicated to mass production in the automotive sector. ACGB obtains certification IATF 16949 in 2011.
Continues with QSE approach :
- ACGB wishes to strengthen and enhance its mastery of welding that is the heart of the company’s business. This approach is deployed according to ISO 3834-2 specifies the standard for welding quality requirements of fusion welding of metallic alloys.
- ACGB is increasingly present in the areas of armament and aerospace. This involves working to integrate requirements of EN 9100.

ACGB is founded after the meeting of a boiler maker and a naval architect. Ateliers et Chantiers de la Grande Bruyère constructing sail and power boats in steel and in aluminium

1984

With the original equipment supplied on trucks not providing the capacity demanded by hauliers, one customer orders a specially designed hydraulic tank with unique fixing system. A turning point for ACGB. The design and manufacture of bespoke and made to measure tanks begins

1992

First tanks supplied to truck manufacturers. Ready equipped for export ACGB pioneers

1998

First certification to ISO 9002. ISO 9001 certification follows in 2001. 14001 in 2003 and TS 16949 in 2011.

1998

2006

Production has doubled in 10 years and the manufacturing facility has been fully industrialised. New workshop area is built to bring the total area to 4500m2

2006

2014

Sylvain Auvy takes control of ACGB, he prepares an ambitious strategy of investment in R&D for technology and materials, in International deployment to increase the export market for ACGB from 50% to 75%.
